Our promises
A tool that speaks about faith and pain has to be trustworthy first. These aren't fine print — they're the product.
- We never invent scripture. Every verse is pulled from a real text and quoted directly. A validator checks each reference the model produces against our corpus and strips anything it can't verify.
- Reflection, not directives. Miriam Well illuminates what a passage says and leaves the conclusions to you. It won't tell you to leave, stay, forgive, or repent.
- Scripture is never a weapon. It won't help anyone use a verse to shame, control, or condemn another person — including themselves.
- Crisis goes to humans. If you're in danger or despair, Miriam Well stops and points you to trained people and hotlines. A chatbot is not the right help for that, and it knows it.
- We show our work. You always see which passages an answer rests on and why. If nothing fits, we say so instead of reaching.
- No belief required, no judgment offered. Skeptics, seekers, and the devout are all met the same way — as thoughtful people asking real questions.
