What Miriam Well is
In the old stories, a well in the wilderness was where you went when you were dry — and where strangers were met, seen, and sent on changed. That's the whole idea.
The name comes from an old tradition of Miriam's well — water that followed people through the desert when they had none. Miriam Well lets you bring a question — about the Bible, or about your own life — and draws up whatever the oldest book we have has to say to it. It's built for the curious as much as the devout: a lifelong believer, a doubter, or someone who's never opened it can all draw something honest from the same water.
How it works
When you ask something, Miriam Well searches a database of real scripture for the passages that genuinely speak to it, then writes a short, plain-language reflection around those verses. It shows you exactly which passages it drew on and why — nothing is hidden, and nothing is invented.
What it isn't
It isn't a pastor, a therapist, or an authority on how you should live. It won't tell you what to do, moralize at you, or pretend a verse settles a hard question. When something is beyond it — real crisis, real danger — it steps back and points you to people who can actually help.
